u-notetaker — Privacy Policy

u-notetaker is an internal meeting-notetaker tool for the Unique Marketing team. It is a Chrome extension that records meetings the user chooses to record, transcribes them, and generates summaries.

What we collect

• Audio recordings — and, optionally, screen video — of meetings that the user explicitly starts recording.
• The transcripts and summaries generated from those recordings.
• Basic metadata (date, meeting title, detected language).

The extension does not record anything until the user presses "Start recording," and does not collect browsing history, form data, or unrelated content.

How we use it

• Recordings are uploaded to the team's private cloud storage (Supabase).
• Audio is transcribed by Deepgram; transcripts are summarized by Anthropic (Claude).
• Results are shown to the user and saved to the team's meeting history so they can be reopened.

Data is used solely to provide the notetaking feature. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it beyond the sub-processors listed above.

Access & retention

Access is limited to members of the Unique Marketing team using the extension. Recordings and notes are retained until deleted by the team.

Please make sure meeting participants are aware that the meeting is being recorded, in line with the laws of your jurisdiction.
